A documentary film that shows the beauty and holiness of the monastic lifestyle. To get to the bottom of “why would anyone become a monk”. To dig into the struggles and revelations of someone who has spent over two decades in a search for the beyond .
The subject Father Augustine has been a monk for over 25 years and is the author of three well sold books.
The film will showcase the typical daily rituals of a Benedictine Monk but show them off in a heightened way through the use of lighting and camera movement, every small menial task such as lighting a candle will be shown through lens of holiness and awe.
The film will dive into the principles laid out in the book Humility Rules’ through quotes, poetry and imagery sprinkled throughout.
