Current Cine
Video production shouldn’t be a stressful unknown for businesses or agencies. We connect you with creatives who understand your brand, match your style, and give everything they have. It’s a clearer, smoother, more collaborative way to bring your story to life.
Who We Are
Current Cine began with a group of friends who shared the same vision for the industry. We kept hearing the same frustrations from both sides—creatives wanting access to dream projects, and brands unsure how to find the right creatives who truly understood their identity. So we set out to solve it by building a place where the two could finally meet.
We operate as a creative collaboration studio, assembling specialized talent tailored to the unique needs of each project. Story is at the core of everything we create—connecting audiences through emotion, memory, and moments that resonate. By pairing the right creatives with the right clients, we’re able to craft narratives that feel authentic and make a lasting impact.
Our goal is simple: bring our clients’ visions to life while giving creatives the opportunities they’ve always wanted. Whether it’s driving engagement, growing brand awareness, or elevating a product through story, we’re committed to ensuring every project fulfills its purpose and exceeds expectations.
Outside of our client focused work Current is committed long term to producing films, both documentary and scripted, hopefully one day moving into scripted limited series as well.
The co-founders of Current also own an equipment rental house Village Cine Rentals which gives Current more infrastructure built in and easily accessible. Along with that we are close collaborators with Gaussian Sound Co. giving us the ability to create custom sound design, mixing, and original scores for any work.
The Future Of Film Production
Compact gear, and streamlined post-production have shifted the industry toward agility. Brands now look for creator-specific production—matching the right filmmaker, photographer, or director to the job instead of relying on massive traditional crews.
Where things are headed: productions built around the strengths of individual creators or small teams, pairing brands with the exact people whose style, taste, and storytelling naturally fit their identity. It’s faster, more personal, more efficient—and produces more authentic work.
TODAY
-
Film production required massive budgets, large crews, and specialized equipment. Only studios and major companies could realistically produce video content.
-
Camcorders and early digital tools made filming more approachable. Crews got smaller, costs dropped, and everyday people could finally experiment with video.
-
Digital cameras replaced film, editing moved to computers, and production became faster and cheaper. Independent creators could produce solid work without studio-level resources.
-
DSLRs, affordable cinema cameras, and social platforms (YouTube, Vimeo) opened the doors wide. Small team or a single creator could produce content that competed with traditional productions.
-
Technology advanced so quickly that compact teams could execute projects that once required huge sets. High-quality cameras, lighting, and stabilization gear became accessible, enabling creators to produce commercial-level work with minimal overhead.
